The objective of this edited book is to gather best practices in the development and management of mobile apps projects. Mobile Apps Engineering aims to provide software engineering lecturers, students and researchers of mobile computing a starting point for developing successful mobile apps. To achieve these objectives, the book's contributors emphasize the essential concepts of the field, such as apps design, testing and security, with the intention of offering a compact, self-contained book which shall stimulate further research interest in the topic. The editors hope and believe that their efforts in bringing this book together can make mobile apps engineering an independent discipline inspired by traditional software engineering, but taking into account the new challenges posed by mobile computing.
作者介紹
Ghita Kouadri Mostefaoui is a senior teaching fellow at the department of computer science, University College London. Previously, she worked as a software engineer at the UK's synchrotron. Prior to that, she was a researcher at Oxford University. Ghita is primarily interested in best practices in teaching/learning computer science in higher education. She is also interested in mobile apps technologies.
Faisal Tariq is a senior lecturer in the school of engineering at University of Glasgow, United Kingdom. Prior to this, he worked at Queen Mary University of London and University of Bedfordshire. He is also serving as the editor of the Journal of Networks and Computer Applications. His research interest includes future wireless networks, technologies for smart city and mobile computing and communications.
